One of those early, sleepless mornings.

Scrolling through Instagram with no real destination, I came across @shitsmint — and there it was.

A shoe I still regret not copping when I had the chance.

The Off-White Presto.

Instant pause.

Man, I miss Virgil’s work.

There was something about the way he could take something familiar, pull it apart and somehow give it an entirely different language.

Simple. Raw. Unfinished on purpose.

Yet impossible to overlook.

The exposed construction.
The typography.
The orange tab.
“AIR.”

Nothing needed to scream for attention.

It just stood out.

And maybe that’s why, eight years later, one random early-morning scroll was enough to bring the feeling back.

Some sneakers you buy.

Some you forget.

And then there are the ones you remember not buying.

Would I finally cop a pair for the right price?
